Catchall FSU Gone/Snubbed/White Knighting Thread

In the wild, wild, west known as CFB, how bad to you have to be to get caught in any NIL issues? lol

Probably a test case to see if the NCAA has any authority. Maybe they figure fsu won't sue them since they are busy suing the ACC.

Mark Hicks, the NCAA enforcement managing director for development, told a group of administrators that the association is focused on “tampering and inducements” related to NIL and that they have proof that recruiting rules are being violated. The NCAA has screenshots of text messages from sitting head coaches sent directly to players competing on other college teams in attempts to get them to transfer schools.

Whoa. NCAA ain’t done yet it seems.

NCAA gonna kick them while they are down

A 3 game suspension for an assistant coach is an unprecedented penalty?? How do you enforce a disassociation from the booster organization? Can't the booster organization just disband and reconstitute itself under a new name.

This is all just laughable. And of course Jim Phillips will let the NCAA do whatever it wants to do to an ACC. UGA has had dead bodies and Sankey won’t let the NCAAon campus, yet an ACC school gets roasted, Kinda reminds me of a certain ACC school losing a banner over clothing while Auburn bought a Natty with a banner that still hangs. The ACC is a joke.

It is so unprecedented it hasn't happened since long long ago to Jim harbaugh some couple three weeks ago

But WHICH FSU team will be ranked? The one that went 13-0 during the season or the one that played in the Orange Bowl?

Apparently the one that went 13-1. I see them ranked 6th in the coaches poll and 6th in the AP poll. Georgia jumped Texas and Bama to the 3rd spot.

Unprecedented in the sense that it's the first time anyone has been penalized for NIL violations.

I think that the reason Bammer wasn't quite up to Bammer standards in 2023 was Saban was too busy negotiating a percentage of every top shelf coach's contract renewal in 2024.

Well, if the buyout is reduced according to time left on the TV deal, Clemson is probably looking at jumping too. 2024 could be the last year of the ACC.
