I fully expect for us to beat the HELL out of Wake Forest

We were in a similar situation in 2014. New QB and two losses around midway through the season. A heartbreaking loss to UNC. What happened then was the best Tech football season in the past 20 years.

There's a good chance VT beats that Miami team. That's all we need for a chance at a 3-way tie in the Coastal.
I feel like we'd need an additional Miami loss to come out on top, but I guess the UGA game could put us over the top with 2 1-point losses.

I’m thinking of bringing a poster that says DEFEND THE BUBBLE SCREEN to the game. Roof would be able to see it where I sit
I'm going to bring a sign that says:
Code:
Do While Not In Endzone
    Run Bubble Screen
Loop

I guess the Blueprint has boiled down to this.

I don't know how one can fully expect any outcome with TECH football.

I would enjoy a Wake beat-down, please and thank you. :ughrun:

I would be very concerned about a Wake team that is solid (esp on DEF)and rested.(off week).

I expect to win, since good teams do not lose to games in a row, however a blowout might not happen!!!

Expect a performance similar to the North Carolina game. More energy in BDS, night game, serves as a catalyst for the brutal beatings we unleash on the remainder of our schedule. We'll be 9-2 and coming off a win over erstwhile national title-contender Georgia when we break into the top 25.
I like the cut of your jib

What I'm going to enjoy most this weekend is the extra room around my seats as the bandwagoners don't show up. Every year there are two groups sitting near us that come to the games until we lose a couple. They bitch and moan the entire time about every play that doesn't result in a TD or (when we're on defense) a turnover. The amazing thing is that as soon as the play is over, they know exactly what we should have run to score a TD. Travelers from a future or parallel universe is my best guess. I have no idea why they are wasting their time at Tech games when there are fortunes to be made elsewhere by people with their talents. From now until at least the uga game, the rest of us will have to get our expert analysis from some other source.

Most likely, Wake Forest will not be an easy out. They have played Army each of the last 5 years, and they had a bye this weekend, so they will be rested and prepared to defend our offense. They have only lost 2 games, Clemson and FSU, and probably should have beaten the Seminoles. A lot will depend on what our injury situation is. I could see this being a close game with home field advantage being the difference. I like the character of our team, so I don't think we'll be caught looking ahead to Clemson.

Tell them to get ööööed next time. There is no good reason to let these turds get away with saying that kind of nonsense unchecked.

You should make a separate sign for each word and have 4 folks hold up a word so he can really, really see it
They would get the signs in the wrong order.

SCREEN THE !!! DEFEND BUBBLE

Luckily our offense is well rested as well. They were hardly on the field during the second half. I think they snapped the ball less than a dozen times in the 4th quarter.

I expect a beat down as well.

But if it's close, and we lose it on some B.S. miracle again, I start to worry about the psyche of the team.

öööö I'll be worried about my own psyche if it happens again. I woke up this morning, then I remembered we lost and how the game ended, and was butthurt all over again.

Don't really understand why I care so much. It's just a game.

People who invest too much importance to sports are usually privileged by an absence of more important öööö to worry about in their lives.
