A prospect to watch for in the February NSD. From Rivals.com:

4* CB MARCELLUS BARNES, JR.

A public decision from Barnes won't come this week as he is expected to announce his commitment at the All-American Bowl on Jan. 6. The former Virginia Tech commit had been focusing on Georgia but the departure of defensive backs coach Fran Brown to become head coach at Syracuse has changed things.

Syracuse is a major contender for Barnes now but Georgia Tech is lurking as well.

Tre Alexander, Bobby Pruitt, Justin Terrell, CJ Jackson. It was big landing Bradford bc he was almost a miss.

Tre went to BYU from SW Dekalb.
Pruitt we went after hard but lost to Miami.
Lost Terrell to NC State bc we came in too late.
Jackson is headed to LSU which is currently a better program.

they didn't mention that this is our third highest ranked HS group (composite) ever!
this group will be better than the higher ranked Clown group 19-20 due to better development and improved staff.
still time to add thru portal if they think the defense needs to plug some holes..
chan's 07-08 group is probably our best since the recruiting services been around
