Yeah, it started last night. They (EZBoard.com) are moving to new servers.

In addition, there may be isolated intermittent slowness or even unscheduled downtime while we prepare for the move.
What can you expect on April 27th and early April 28th?
The move will begin at 8pm PDT on Tuesday, April 27. We are anticipating system-wide downtime starting at 8 pm PDT that will continue until 6 am PDT April 28th. During this time we will be moving servers between data centers. Some boards will become active sooner than others. Your individual experience may vary, however we ask that you be prepared for a total of ten hours of downtime. Anyone attempting to access an ezboard community during this time will be automatically redirected to a system-wide announcement page with information on the changes we are making to the ezboard network.
What can you expect after the move date?
Once the move is complete and all servers are back online we expect an improvement in speed and reliability. Moving forward, the ezboard network should be faster and more reliable.
We thank you for your patience and understanding and we are anxious for you to experience these new improvements within ezboard!

Yes - I haven't been able to logon in over a year. I keep getting a message that says "User has been banned from this community". I think something must be wrong with their servers.

The Hive sucks...
It has sucked for a long time.
If Rivals or the people running the Hive cared about Ga Tech or Ga Tech fans they would clean out their banned list and start over. I bet 50% of the posters who have been following Tech for many years have been banned from the Hive at least once.
Its a control thang! I had hoped that others now involved would give the Hive a more reasonable approach but the Hive won't be the voice of the Ga Tech fan as long as it continues to persecute those who speak their minds....

I don't agree at all with the claim of too much censorship on the Hive There are enough Dawg fans to bash our guy, so lets not state adverse opinions. I do not like to go on line for enjyment and be subected to Chan bashing and all that crap. It oly makes me want to bash someone in the mouth, and that is not pleasant feeling. I saw that the great ANTI TECH fan was on line here a few days ago and told her she should go back in her hole. People like that do harm to ur program with their "personal opinions" and I would do anything I could to get StingTalk to ban them. It wold certainly make this a more pleasant site to visit. My only problem with The Hive is that it is too slow and they are now requiring paid membership to get practice reports.

Not completely true. I got kicked off 5 different times before I got kicked out for good. But apparently after the fifth time is when they get serious about not letting you back on. Of course 3 of those times was because I had a disagreement with Cracker Jacker, so maybe they have a two kick out policy and the 3rd one is fatal. I'm not sure. It's hard to know whether or not RamblingReck counts all the boots that are direct results of Cracker JAcket disagreeing with someone and therefore booting them off. Anyway, I'm sure its in their bylaws over there right under the section which allows Bulldog to constantly toss out bait. I guess Bulldog is a better Jacket fan than us too.
I'm still wondering if what I did violated a rule over there. Don;t think so, but now they have an amendment in place called the "BOR effect" which states in some part that "if you speak freely you get booted." Some people call it Socialism... I call it The Hive.

The Hive was impacted by some EZBoard stuff. Works fine
for me now. If you work in the IT field, you understand this
stuff happens from time to time. (Although I agree it took
too long to finish the server migrations...)

You can call it a personal vendetta if you like, but if that
was the case I wouldn't have made you the personal sig images
