as leverage with NBC..They just signed a longterm deal...I know it is a long shot but the only way i would see Notre Dame coming IS if NBC won the New TV Contract with the New ACC and Notre Dame keeps on having losing seasons like this year and lose bargaining power/appeal with NBC and the BCS and then they end up having to join a conference ....
