Yessir, Nate McManus was an OL for the Alabama stars. I'd certainly have figured DL David Brown would've been in this game. Gotta believe that he was offered, but didn't accept.
If u think the Georgia HS academics are not good then just check out the thirteen (13) Mississippi all-stars that are going the Jr College route. Of course, the Miss JCs are just feeder programs for Ole Miss, Ms St & other SEC schools. U'll see the majority of these 13 as incoming recruits for SEC schools in 2 yrs.

Ace, I saw some of that game but didn't see #73 in at all.He must not have started.
There was a an OL from my nearby hi school in H'ville who played a lot,.Bosley, going to Auburn.

Courtesy of the GT Sports Blog: Birmingham News June 3rd Edition...A real nice piece on Nate McManus...I dont know bout his playing time in that game or not...But well thought of Olineman....

He looked great. Played center. Reminded me of refridgerator mover himself. He had several pancakes and was solid in pass protection.
