Big East loses a Bowl slot in San Fran

Any changes in the ACC bowl tieins? Would like to see us get rid of Boise in favor of a nearer and warmer spot. That GMAC bowl in Mobile would be a good one.
No changes for the ACC
as of yet with the Bowls. Everybody has contracts & legal matters to watch out for. BC & Mia are still presently party to a lawsuit alleging they plotted to harm the Big E.
Probably the best the ACC can hope for this yr is that some Bowl, either a Big E tie-in or other, will not be able to fill their slots.
The Continental Tire Bowl has been a big success & means a LOT to the ACC in ACC country. The Tangerine Bowl has been a huge disappointment & will not get any better til they move their play date to a weekend or to after Christmas. The Tangerine also has a bad tie-in with the Big 12, which brings virtually zero fans to Orlando, nor does it generate any interest in Orlando.
I like the idea of the GMAC, but I like the Outback even better. ACC/SEC in the Outback.

The Outback would be great but they have had good success with Big 10 vs Sec and it will prob difficult to crack that one. They want all those midwest $.
