“Escorted to their cars” ajc article

Garbage article. Says they were escorted out but doesn’t give a specific reason why. We will likely never know but considering how pompous Collins was and how delusional Todd was, I wouldn’t be shocked if it one day came out that they both made a scene and fought this firing.

Supposedly Collins just kept standing there after his meeting with Cabrera. When Cabrera commanded him to leave, Collins insisted he was already leaving, saying "if you don't see progress towards the exit, it's because you don't want to."

This could have happened because Cabrera didn’t want the two calling their big donor supporters. Cabrera made a decision and didn’t want to hear anymore about it. Good for him.
This article from the AJC seems to me like they are trying to show President Cabrera in a bad light in retaliation after Mr. Cabrera didn't take any of their questions on Monday. Remember Jeff Schultz's comments about "It being a bad look" that President Cabrera chose to leave the press conference after he gave his opening remarks?

The AJC has often been referred to as the Atlanta Urnal and Constipation for GOOD reason!

The second half of the article has quotes from like five different people saying that this is almost certainly institute policy for all high level employees. Which also lines up with the fact that it's standard policy for most employers everywhere.

I really doubt it was anything other than that.

Yeah except reading the headline and the first half of the article, you think Cabrera is Pablo Escobar ordering his guys to grab Collins and Stansbury, taken out the back and shot. They even took their cellphones man! Then the second half is oh but you know we asked a bunch of people and they said that’s normal in academics and corporate. This is twice in a week Seguira ööööed with Tech, first was releasing the information that Collins was fired on Sunday before it happened and second is this. The new AD and head coach and staff need to be wary of talking to that man.

lol that cell phone thing was so bizarre.

"The fired employees were asked to give back their company phones!! Scandalous as öööö!!!"

Like -- what do they think being fired entails?

I will pay you to make the Cabrera/Escobar meme we deserve

The “bad look” for the perp walk folks have no idea how the corporation works. Corporations have policies. Corporate HR have policies. The one think I’ve learned sitting on corporate boards and learning a little about corporate law is that you follow your policies. Period. If your policy is a perp walk, the you perp walk the öööö out of them. If the corporate policy is to drive them by Kirby Smart’s mom’s house, then by God you drive them over for some easy action. You want to get into legal issues? Don’t follow your policies.

The manufactured concern about them being walked out is complete BS.
