It will give their recruiting staff some bling to flash, the only issue being if any recruits actually ask about the game...
 
So this is going to get bigcried to death, but didn't we do the exact same thing with our 2008 Peach (Chick-fil-a) Bowl rings, and as a result got a ton of öööö about it? Like, even down to having the score of our rivalry game (instead of the thrashing we receiving in the bowl)? Or was that ring unrelated to the bowl?
 
Oh STFU retarts. They also beat a highly ranked state rival that they hadn't beaten in some time. They had a good season that happened to end in a loss to a very good team.

In 2008 our guys got State Champs/CFA bowl rings and UGA had a field day. Something something glass houses.

IIRC got rings for the good season that year. Not tied to bowl or the UGAg game, but put the score of that game on the ring because it was a big win.

Not sure that is correct despite the tweet saying it is a "bowl ring". It has Taxslayer on one side, Governor's Cup on the other, and Kentucky Football on the crown. Does that make it a Kentucky Football ring?
