Is anyone else having trouble getting on the Hive? It now requires me to sign in, whereas before I could lurk around without having to do so.

appears to be a nasty little trick...

that appears to be a nasty little trick to drive up there membership during a crucial reading time. strikes me as a little slimey because some people cannot sign up for things while working.

Same thing happened to me last year, but I am not having any problems this year. They seem to change the registration requirements for Signing Day to keep the traffic down. I have no idea why I can get in this year when I could not last year.
