I don’t know the number of 4 stars vs 3 stars every recruiting cycle, but you have to imagine you’ll be getting a lot of quality depth with everyone collecting a check. Not to mention some diamonds in the rough with number of these quality guys who just didn’t get the bigger offers behind higher rated recruits. At $36,00, you probably keep what, 90% in that tax bracket? $2700 spending cash a month with the majority of your meals and housing paid for throughout the year sounds awesome for a high school grad. Sounds pretty awesome to me, too, haha.

SMU will start at mid pack ACC, minimum. They have motivated rich donors that have money to burn.

Is there anything that keeps an NIL collective from paying tuition, room, etc for a player? If not, that's the end of "scholarship" limits for crappy schools where a student athlete could get admitted to school based on grades.
