Love to get others' take on what you consider the top ten winds from the start of the Dodd era til now. Here is my list:

1) 1962: Tech 7 Bama 6: Dodd's "all time greatest win", and stopped Bear's 2 1/2 year winning

Still the best game I have ever known
2) 1990: Tech 41 UVA 38: Paved the way for to Ross' NC, beat the #1 team in their house, and kinda made the Citrus Bowl
a little anticlimatic
3) 1952: Tech 24 Ole Miss 7: Sealed Dodd's NC, and firmed up Tech's SEC dominance at the time
4) 2014: Tech 49 Miss St 34: 452 yards rushing and dominance over a once ranked #1 team. Returned Tech's
prominence to Orange Bowl wins
5) 2008: Tech 45 UGA 42: In Athens, ended a very long losing streak, and put Tech back on map
6) 1989: Tech 35 UGA 18: In Athens. Start of Pepper era, but ended an ugly period of UGA dominance
7) 1991: Tech 45 Nebraska 21: Citrus Bowl. Ross's NC. Nuff said
8) 1989: Tech 33 UGA 22: A game that wasn't near as close as the score. Paved the way for Ross' NC
9) 1981: Tech 24 Bama 21: Shocked the whole world in Legion Field
10) Tech 23 Notre Dame 14: Major upset in Grant, never threw a pass

Wasn't there that game against ND where Pepper Rogers practiced Wishbone in secret all year, surprised ND with it and ending up tying when they were #1? It's before my time, but I think that's awesome.

The tie when ND was #1 was in 1980 at Grant Field under Curry. I was present. A great game. After the tie UGA moved to #1.

2008, 2014, 2016 UGA, and 14 orange bowl are my picks from the cpj era. Id say 14 uga would make the list for sure.

How bout the ACC championship (FU NCAA)

If your including the Dodd era there's got to be more Dodd wins on there
1951/2 Orange Bowl over #9 Baylor
1953/4 Sugar Bowl over #10 West Virginia
1947/8 Orange Bowl over #10 Kansas

I wouldn't put the Orange Bowl over Mississippi State in my top 10. I really expected that victory. The big victory over UGAg in 1974? was awesome. Can't look it up right now for year. David Sims in at running back.

I'd put a high point, maybe not a top 10 victory, Eddie Lee Ivery's 356 yards rushing against Air Force.

Also in 74, Adrian Rucker at RB.

Off top of my head -
vs Bama in 62
vs Ole Miss Sugar Bowl
vs ut in 66
vs ugag in 69
vs n.d. 80
vs Nebraska Citrus Bowl
vs MSU Orange Bowl

There is a distinction to me between great wins and important wins. For instance the Nebraska win in 1990 was important but not as great as #1 Virginia earlier that year.

Also the 2009 acc championship was important but not as great as beating #4 va tech

I like your list. I thought about the ‘69 game vs Ga...turned a series that was heavily in Ga’s favor. 3 ints from Bubba Hoats that day

#1 1990 UVA
That one was huge at the time, it was the game that really put us in the championship discussion that year.

35-18 vs UGA (1984?) was a big game too. It symbolized that the football program had climbed out of the abyss.

How about vs. (I believe #1) Bama in 1981. 24-21 at Legion Field for our only win that year. Bama would go on to only lose one other game.
