That's right & u can count them for yourselves. It's also mindnumbing how little Insiders/Rivals thought of these players, yet they will have full football scholarships to play in the Big 10! The only one to get any ink at all was OL J. Ciulla who went with Michigan. Penn St got 1, Minnesota 1, Iowa got 1, Indiana got 2 & Illinois inked 3! Ciulla was the only one that got interest from Tech, yet the Big 10 schools are down here trying to grab Ga players.
It's pretty staggering when u see how many Ga players got Div1a 'ships this yr & most of them are pretty much unknowns. Even when u get by the huge haul the SEC got & the bountiful take of the ACC, it's unbelievable how many Ga players went to ConferenceUSA, Sunbelt & MAC. Heck, Kansas St got over here & took a big OL.
Now, for the truly stunning part, Georgia only has 2 div1a schools! It's not like Ohio with 6 MAC teams, to go with Oh St, all scrambling for recruits, or Louisiana with 5 div1a teams, or North Carolina with 5, or even Alabama with 4! I shutter to think how many Ga players would ink Divv1a if there were more 1a teams in Ga, who want state players 1st, of course.
Anyway, just thought I'd share what a HS football rich state Georgia is & how heavily recruited this state is.
