Sounds as though he didn't transfer, but rather simply left the team. CPJ said he "just wasn't feelin' it, dog". Quinlan says he has likely just quit football entirely. Probably was a grind and he wasn't into it anymore, mentally.

Regardless, I wish him well on his future expeditions to the New World in search of gold and conquest.

He was not a DB. He was a DE. Smart kid out of Westminster. Coach indicated he had lost his desire to play the game. He will be fine. We have another scholarship to offer. Too bad we did not gauge this sooner and avoided the loss of time and money in recruiting him to play football. Hopefully we can learn from this.
