2017 GT wins over/under

That Clemson over is a sucker bet from hell, right? Vegas knows they'll lose to Auburn and Louisville back to back and then go into a tailspin ending the season at 3 wins or something? Surely?

I would bet the over on 6.5. What number would it take for you to bet the under? For me it would be 8.5

4 wins are in the bag - Jax St., UCF, Wake, Duke. I don't know enough about UVA, but I'd say them too. That is 5 wins

2 more and you have the over

Easy money if you are the betting type

11 wins are in the bag - Tenn, Jax St., UCF, Pitt, UNC, Miami, Wake, Clemmons, VT, Duke, Dwags. I don't know enough about UVA, but I'd say them too. That is 12 wins

2 more and you have the natty

Is the USC a typo? Moved from 9.5 to 6.

We have a very tough schedule. We'll for sure be underdogs for the following:
@Miami
Tennessee
georgia
@Clemson

The toss ups are(all at home)
UNC
Pitt
VPI

The games that we have no business losing are
@duke
@uva
Wake
Jax St
@UCF

The range for most reasonable fans should be an expectation between 5-8 wins which is where I see 6.5 coming from. I wouldn't want to touch it. With knowing what we have on offense around the qb and seeing the DL in the spring game, if I had to bet I'm taking the over and expect us to win 8-9 games. I think we take 1-2 from the top set, 2 from the middle and all 5 of the bottom. The order of the schedule set up ok this year, and I'm glad we have a big game out of the gate. Win that first one and we'll potentially hit that 9 win mark. Win the bowl and get to 10 should be doable barring injuries or major let down games.

We owe UNC. Was the last time we beat Va Tech at BDS/HGF PJ's second year? And our games with Pitt have just been wild.
@Canes and @Dabos worries me. But frankly, I think we beat UT.
And for the love of all that is holy ... it is time to end the home losing streak to the Mutts. Not tomorrow. Not after breakfast. Now.
So, yeah, take the over.

Tennessee should be a toss up at worst. They have the stupidest players of any team we play. That should be good for some points.

--------------

Win 4-5 of 'no business losing'
Win 2-3 of 'toss ups (at home)
Win 2-4 of 'for sure underdogs'

That's 8-4 -but...

We won't lose a 'no business losing game'
We're running the table at home
We're beating UT and UGA

That's 10-2 (6-2 = ACC Coastal Champs)

Beat FSU in ACCCG
Win the Orange Bowl

That's 12-2 and a Top 5 Final Ranking

Va tech has to start with a new QB, WR and TE
Pitt has to start with a new QB and RB
Miami has to start with a new QB
Clemson has to start with a new QB
UNC has to start with a new QB,RB and WRs
Tennessee has to start with a new QB, RB, and multiple defensive personal.

yes, we have a " new " QB as well, but I think that we will be in a better position than most teams on our schedule with the amount of returning starters that we have.

Sounds like a bunch of you should nut up and put your money on the line. Easy money, right?

I don't like having some casino hold my money for 4 months, but I will bet the over against you if you want the under.
