Woods is gone

Battling with walk-ons at Tech, but somebody thinks he's going to Louisville? How does losing a fourth string guy leave holes to fill? I'm a little lost on this one.
 
That sucks (yay, another 4 star DL not panning out), but it also sounds like he was down the depth chart.
 
Can't crack the depth chart here, but Kelly thinks the kid might be looking at Louisville?

Just shows the star system is stupid. At Least he was low on the depth chart. I remember reading something from Roof a few weeks ago saying he had a lot of work to do after missing a season with the injury. Prob came to camp out of shape not putting in the work offseason or maybe this injury was really bad. IDK but best of luck to the kid. Moving on now
 
It sounds like he hasn't progressed since coming to Tech because of injury. He could have been special if he stayed and worked. Which is what he's gonna have to do anywhere he goes. It is what it is. I'm not going to lose sleep over losing the 4th string DE.
 
We have bad luck at DL. At least he didn't rob some place in Buckhead
 
I'm trying to think of instances where individuals have transferred out of GT to other D1 schools for reason x, y or z and become stars. Anybody got any examples, surely I am overlooking at least 1? Did Jeff Greene ever do anything wherever he landed?

PS I think Marcus Marshall will do well. Maybe he will be our 1st?

There was a LB named Curry who left and went to FSU went CBC went to Bama. He got to watch us win the National Championship on TV.

EDIT: I must have meant Shane Curry, who ended up as a NFL DL after he transferred to Miami.

Who was the DE/DL that ended up at Valdosta State?
 
TE that left when Johnson took over. Went to Alabama and started. Won a championship.
