Think SEC and/or Alabama backlash. I don't see it happening, but you never know. Who wants another one-loss Alabama team in the title game, other than Bammers?

The NCAA has no standing in this issue. This is about the BCS. You may as well say someone should attack the AJC.

The possibility of being passed over is real not because of any bias but because of their weak résumé. So long as this is a beauty contest instead of something that is settled on the field, it will matter how you got your wins.

I wouldn't consider an undefeated season with wins over Michigan, Stanford, Oklahoma and USC to be a particularly weak resume.

The reaon that they won't get another freebie is that most of the country was not happy that Alabama got a second chance last year to the exclusion of Oklahoma State and Oregon. Their is a backlash and feeling that they had their break last year. The human voters will push them down and number of losses also impacts the formula.
