False starts on a PAT.
10 players on the field for our second punt return

Wow.

We have a dedicated coach for this stuff. I can only presume CPJ lit a fire under his ass about that. Five gaffs like that vs UGA is un freaking acceptable.

Pshhhh..... a day after a 56-20 win and we're having posts like these.

Those mistakes are ones we can get over. A false start and illegal formation on an extra point literally means nothing.

The VA player was about to lay out the PR and GT blocker was trying to get him away and the ball hit him on the back. It happens.

The ball wasn't bouncing our way on punts. Big whoop. We won by 5 Td's. Get over yourself.

The KR found a small lane and cut it back up field. He was 30 yards gone and he got tracked down and tackled before he got in the redzone. We stopped them on the goal line.

Causing a fumble on a punt return by creaming our own guy is not a small deal. That's exactly the kind of thing that has cost us at least one win per year in the past three years, it's the kind of thing that other teams don't do, and it's the kind of thing we hired an entirely new coach to fix.

On the bright side, that was a good game to have your special teams gaffes in, assuming they get fixed.

Not sure where this UVA player you speak of was (I need to see a replay); but our guy ran straight into the PR, that why he the ball hit him on the back.

Our guy was engaged with a UVA player and kind of got driven into the returner, at least as it looked live.

Could be a lot worse. A lot.

It's just like anything else... ST will need time to adjust. Things don't get perfected overnight.

Excusing unforced errors is not what champions are made of. Kicking the dog crap out of a bad Virginny team does not equal success. This errors are inexcusable.
