Default Borussia Dortmund crush Bayern Munich in German Cup Final

5-2 demolishing of Bayern Muenchen by Borussia Dortmund.
report: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...double?cc=5901

granted, Bayern have a lot to play for next weekend, but that is a whole week away, not like its on Tuesday or Wednesday

given that Bayern had lost 4 in a row to B.Dortmund, it would seem they should be motivated to avoid a 5th in a row. not so

best goal (imo) was the last one by Dortmunds with a through ball that nutmegged Schweinsteiger into the path of hat-trick hero Lewandowski

the ball was given through by Kevin Grosskreutz, which ironically means "big cross" in German. I guess Schweinsteiger (who's name in German means "pig stepper") figured it would be played in the air...

since B.Dortmund also won the league this season, that gives them the vaunted "double" that teams dream of.

look for them to lose a few players in the transfer market this summer

Kagawa on Fergie's radar
Borussia Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa is being linked to the Premier League after BVB's thrashing of Bayern Munich in the DFB-Pokal final.

Kagawa has been drawing major interest for over a year.
