Interesting - Goodell's answer is 'the game should be played in the elements' which completely eliminates weather as the reason why they won't come back. But it's also contradictory - the conspiracy theorist in me thinks that the owners are helping Blank by conspiring to get a new stadium for Atlanta (with justification being - what ATL needs is anything but a dome)

That's a BS answer. When did they play the SB in Detroit?

The teams and leagues always like to trot this out, but it isn't really true. It just shifts the location where people's entertainment dollars are spent; the amount of new spending (a few thousand tourists for 8 weekends/year) is negligible on a macro scale.
