Hopefully we got the right guy though. Having a point guard stay four years is definitely the right approach, just have to find the mix of talented enough to play in the ACC but not talented enough to want to jump after a year.
Agree 100%

I watched videos of Heyward on YouTube so I am now an authority. This kid is a running back on the basketball court! Short and strong physique for a basketball player--seriously doubt he's actually 1.83m tall as is said. Confident ball-handler and good at finding other guys. Defends poorly--not enough range to challenge any shooters. He reminds me of Will Bynum, except I'm not sure he plays taller than his height like Bynum did. If basketball doesn't work out we should try to steer him toward football. He looks like he'd make a great AB or BB, and his pedigree seems to agree.

We need a 5'10 to 6'1 PG. Those guys aren't as highly coveted as the 6'3+ PGs. It's cool to have 1 and done players, but the foundation is needed to take advantage of their talents.

People at Hargrave think he is one of the best perimeter defenders in the past 10 years there.

Well, all I saw was people making shots over the top of him.

This is not uncommon in basketball. Kids who think they can play at the BCS level but didn't get any offers of that type will go to prep school for a yr to mature both physically and in their game.
