What I am saying: Out of the posters from stingtalk I have met (numbering in the 20s now), I know of at least one case for 80% of them when they have bailed out on a game.

Plenty of GT fans leave games early if they are big losses or big wins. That's true of almost every fan base, with a few notable exceptions such as the Chicago Cubs (or so I've heard.)

When money is involved, it's a difficult question to answer. I think pretty much everyone on ST is a great GT fan.

True, just saying that as a fanbase we have little room to throw stones at other fanbases with regards to attendance.

We definitely have plenty of great, diehard fans (most of ST being an example); but then, so does every program and team.

CMJ handled it great in her opening statement at the press conference. Before they even had a chance to bring up the comments, she said that even when Baylor pulled their starters and we put an all underclass squad on the floor, her team never gave up. Of course, it wasn't exactly true, since she put Sharena Taylor (a junior) in the game, but when you have two sophomores and two freshman playing (three of whom start and the other who just hung 32 on the best team in the country), I don't think anyone will notice.

Baylor is good. They would be good without Griner, but she changes the game much the way Russell, Chamberlain, and Jabbar did. (I got to meet her after the game. You guys can lay off the man jokes. She's not. She just plays like one.)

Playing them now was probably just what we needed for next year. As I said before, we are just one elite player from cracking elite status in WBB. there's a top 10 recruiting class coming in. More on the way after that. You haters are missing a good thing. Sucks for you. For those of you that have any interest at all, I suggest you show up for the big game they've scheduled to open McCamish. Regardless of your current attitude you will come away with a different impression. You'll also be able to meet some of the best representatives of our school we have ever had.
