I was about to post that this is the fundamental problem with most women's sports--that females with male traits will always be the ones who succeed. But when I thought about it, it's not unlike men's sports where tall people or big people tend to do better. A genetic advantage that makes you still female but less female is the same as any other genetic advantage that you might have in sports.
So differing genetics may make sports fundamentally unfair, but the cool thing is how hard work and will can often overcome genetic disadvantages. It's a microcosm of life itself. |
