never will you find 2 teams from the same city who are as loved as these programs.....

these kids are rockstars in Valdosta.....

Should be a good one.......
however it has the worst rivalry name:: Winnersville Classic

initially the name bothered me, but I sure do miss living there during this week. the energy and the excitement is really cool.

I went to the game all 4 years I was down there....my advisors son played for Valdosta High so she always camped out the day before tickets went on sale and got a bunch of extras....

The games at VHS Bazemore Hyder are more intimate and sort of special feeling--but the games over at the huge concrete jungle of Lowndes are a good time too.

When I was there Lowndes was starting a dynasty and Valdosta was struggling but it didn't stop the parades/party/sellouts..

The friends I made there went to Lowndes so I joined in on that bandwagon. Great times. I saw some kids get busted for putting a boat with a Viking in the pond at VHS. I stretched my college experience out to 5 years. Hated leaving that town actually but had to for work.

Yeah, titletown was the first thing I thought about when reading the capital one mascot thread . Didn't stop me from ditching work to drive back up there to enjoy the celebration.

I went to that game one year while living down there. It's like the Rose Bowl.
