No we don't need FSU. If we win all the time, including our bowl games and out of conference, then we would be the FSU of the '90's. Everyone in our conference could be the FSU of the '90's if they won every öööö game. If VT would have beaten LSU, Alabama, USC, etc. in the years past, plus won most of their Orange Bowls (probably BCS National Championships) they would be considered the top school in the nation. Guess what, we got beat every year when FSU was good. I'd rather us step up, and kick everyone elses ass. To hell with FSU.
