Just saw this on edsbs. Supposedly broke ankle on Saturday.

Probably has stress fractures from Nick Fairley.

I broke my ankle when I was 18 and it really wasn't a big deal. Of course there are widly varying amounts of severity among the different types of breaks.

I wonder how it happened?

öööö I guess that should put him out for spring ball. I have a friend who did the same thing and he was never the same. Im sure it depends on how severe...

That and how quickly you try to come back. Ankles are easily re-injured. I imagine we'll see less scrambling from him for a while.

Didn't he break an ankle or leg in his senior season of high school?

I'm working on a project for my BME class about ankle braces and whatnot, and it really depends on whether he tore ligaments/tendons, and the extremity of it. Very prone to future injuries, for sure. This may change his playing style.
