Today's game was a MAJOR wake up call, if little else.

it was a wake up call. reminds me of the first time I got really drunk and had a nightmare. it was terrible. and then, i woke up--and things were still terrible. the last five minutes of today's game were so bad. i have no more to say on the hewitt matter. other than pure talent this year, and defensive effort, there is nothing i have seen to get excited about.

Yeah but then the loss to Miami Wednesday night will also be called a wake up call.

I swear people need to grow the stones and start putting blame on how the players are too concerned with their own damn stats and are doing their own damn thing. it's not all hewitt's fault- yes i said it. and i've hated on hewitt for a long time. but today was the players in the last 4 minutes. and it's about time people start putting some blame on them in addition to hewitt..they're not untouchable.

the guy tells them no lob passes and what do they do after the timeout? LOBS. so quit it with the rips- the guy has yelled at them like crazy and if they respond vs. Miami then there's hope- if not then it's b/c they're still individuals, not a new team.

and that's a problem in recruiting, which is Hewitt's fault.

Then if they won't listen, sit their butts on the bench and send in five who will listen! I am sick and tired of the approach that kids are hands off.

We need a coach with a Bobby Knight attitude, either do what I ask or you can pick splinters out of your butt.

It's the coach's job to get them to listen. Yes sometimes you get players who just won't do that, but when it becomes a trend you have to look at the constant.
