GT to win 42-35
VT has seen Nesbitt play guts out critical roles for the past several games. Therefore, VT should plan to double team him with a spy on every play. Further, JD is easily one of the most dangerous running backs in the country and thus also mandates the same level of comprehensive coverage as Josh. Thomas is big, fast and strong and absolutely needs to be taken out of the equation with consistent saturation man to man secondary attention. Simple math therefore tells us that this leaves some configuration of Allen, Jones, Wright, Peoples and Hill completely uncovered on every play. Easy stuff..... next question, please.........;) |

I predict something unexpected will happen. Not sure what. Low-scoring game? We win big? Breakout game for someone like Peeples or Hill? Nesbitt has a bad game but the team rallies and carries him for a change? We get a bunch of sacks against their pass-happy gameplan? I agree with someone who recently said on some other thread: Things usually don't happen the way you expect them to.
I believe in our team. |

30-13 VT wins as we have 2+ turnovers and trouble in the red zone...

If VPI can shut down our offense we are DOOMED. I would predict a 24-7 loss.
But, I don't think they can do it. The line is blocking well. I think we are going to roll, therefore, I predict GT- 38 VPI - 17 |

There is no chance our defense gives up less than 30 points, unless something radically changes. I predict another shoot out if VPI's defense can't hold on to us, which may go either way honestly.
Nevermind, disregard all of that. It'll be 71-0. The good guys. |
