So you're considering beating a bad Rutgers team as a big game? Rutgers is last in the BE in scoring offense and 7th (thank God for Syracuse) in scoring defense. If you consider the fact it was UNC's first win out of the the state of North Carolina since 2002, and that it was a total route over a team that was in the top of the big east for the past two years, I would say it was a big win...

Well, you're sort of supporting my post. UNC hasn't played in a big game in probably 10 years, and hasn't won one in longer. Winning your first game out of state in 8 years doesn't count as a big game, it only suggests that you may be decent again. That's why I'm not sure they can handle VT.

Kind of like their men's lax team. When they finally do beat a conference team again, you could say it's a big win. But unless it's actually FOR something, it just means they're finally competitive again.
