Default John "whack" Hyder\'s funeral service today

Hope, this isn't something already posted here but I thought it was an especially good write up by GT1973 on the Hive.

Coach Hyder touched so many young Tech students and left them forever the better for it.

Excellent write up. I'm too young to rememeber "Whack" Hyder, but feel remorse just the same. I truly feel blessed to be a part of the GT community.
Great article.

Absolutely, one of the greatest posts I have seen on either board of a great Tech coach. I never met him, but always heard great things about him.

He has to be one of the greatest men to ever represent Tech.

Furman Bisher wrote a memorable column on Coach Hyder in , I believe, Wed's paper.

I had Coach Hyder for basketball PT, what a gentleman!

We'll miss you coach!

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">Me too Goldeagle. I'll never forget how astonished I was to be getting coaching from the Tech basketball coach. He actually improved my shooting, never could dribble worth a darn.
