They had already banned Olympiakos fans from attending the match in an effort to prevent crowd violence. No matter... [edit]It makes me wonder why the FA doesn't tell the clubs to either search each and every entrant and strip them of everything (even banners) or face an empty stadium. I know theres something to be said for preserving the environment, but theres also the interest of civilized behaviour.[/edit]

they do search you, from my personal experience, but not like going into a prison. and they also search banners and the like, at least in Spain, Austria, Italy and Germany where i have been to games within the last 10 years

yeah, that's my team and that is the team of the links that i provided above. i went to the next Derby game of Rapid Wien vs Austria Wien (FAK) which was moved to a neutral site due to the pitch invasion that is being described. the Ultras boycotted that match as a protest against moving the game away from the home stadium.. which only really hurts the team.
dumb is dumb, no matter where you are below: the pitch invasion described (there is a short part in the beginning where the video goes blurry, but it comes back) The "green-whites" Sportklub Rapid Wien (Rapid or SCR - for some reason in recent times the 'Club' spelling is preferred over 'Klub')   the "violets" Fussball Klub Austria Wien (FAK - even though its FKA, the way the logo looks everyone says FAK)  Rapid fans love to make fun of the FAK name, and call them FAKers we like to chant "Schwule, Schwule FAKers" (Schwul means gay in German)
