Default More NCAA - South Carolina version

$59K in benefits over a year and no game impact despite having ineligible players...but USC basically kissed the .... of the NCAA so it's not so bad

Yes I am. I wear my official Orange Bowl hat I bought at one of the games that was not a game to every game now.

The NCAA said South Carolina's cooperation went "beyond standard expectations."
It's a shame this is all you need to do to get off easy with the NCAA.

It's even more of a shame that we couldn't have handled our ---- better.

This is the most succinct and accurate assessment of the situation I have seen yet.

Two orders of magnitude more impermissible benefits...

Yes, I know it's not about the money. But which is worse, being evasive about breaking the cookie jar or being upfront about murdering your family?

Clearly it depends on whether you put a greater priority on the rules and the spirit of why they are in place or getting your wittle feewings huht.

Recent scene is a documentary:

Bully had been pummeling weak kid
Both go to vice principal
Bully says he is sorry.
Vice principal tells the two to shake hands.
Weak kid refuses, saying bully does not mean it and will be pummelling him as soon as the authority figures are out of sight
Vice principal berates weak kid, saying he is as bad as the bully

So do you side with the vice principal?

? Is this in disagreement with me or agreement with me?

Is it possible my post was unclear? I meant the "you" as referring to the NCAA and their investigative staff. Being more concerned with their own egos and feelings than the actual rules and the spirit of the rules, they came down harder on GT than USCe.
