That Tech could win their last 4 games, going 15-15(7-9)?

No chance. We have five games left. 3 of them are on the road. Hence, that is 3 automatic losses.

So you seriously think we're going to beat Duke?

If you had to pick 4 ACC opponents to pull that off, those (UVA, NCSt, WF, UM) would be the 4. The only problem is that even if we did that, we would still have to win 1 game in the ACCT to get to the NIT, because I don't think they would take a team with a losing record.

Screw the NIT. It's almost an insult to be invited. It's like "Hey, let's have a tournament for mediocre teams. Want to come and play?"

No, after Duke, we have 4 winnable ACC games. If we were to win all 4 of those, we would finish 15-15, (7-9). We would then have a chance to compete in the NIT. Which I would love to see the Jackets play in the NIT tournament.

Okay I see what you're saying. But no, I see no way we win our last 4 and no way we win any in the ACCT.

Thank God IUPUI and UIC aren't on the schedule this year.

THIS! Have you seen our road win/loss? Not just this year but through CPH's entire tenure at Tech.

The math just doesn't work out:

- Right now 11-14
- Duke on the road ---> 11-15
- Assume you're correct & can, & do, win the remaining regular season games ---> 15 - 15
- There will be a loss in the ACCT ---> 15 - 16
- So, to even make the NIT there would have to be a win in the ACCT. just can't see that happening. one win in the ACCT would be miraculous.

You're missing a game after Duke. Our remaining schedule:

@ Duke (L)
Virginia
@ NC State (L)
@ Wake (L)
Miami

I went ahead and put the L's in for the road games considering we're 0-8 on the road this year.

We will beat Wake on the road. I think we will also beat virginia and Miami at home. NCST is a toss up.

NCSU is on the road. It's a loss.

Okay (starting out with proper information does help).
Still have the problem with needing to win one in the ACCT, as we are likel to enter the tourney @ no better than 15 - 15, then add a loss in the tourney and you're back to 16 losses. just can't see it happening.

We should beat Wake on the road, just like Kennesaw State.

That being said, I think we run the table all the way to the Final 4. From that point on though, it will be a crapshoot.
