William & Mary just intercepted a Jameel Sewell pass to take a 26-14 lead with 2 minutes to play.

William. And Mary.

Hell, Mary probably could've whipped UVA's ass by herself.

There is no reason - none whatsoever - that we shouldn't break the Charlottesville drought this year.

If we don't win this year, we should simply forfeit all games in Charlottesville until the end of time.

I agree, and I'm not joking.

Jesus, are we sure it's 2009? It's 2008 opening weekend all over again.

I guess Al Groh's new spread option offense had UVagina spreadin' 'em just a little too wide.

October 24 can't get here fast enough.

:laugher:

All of this ACC losing makes me happy that we may go undefeated this year.

But if we did the pollsters will say we didn't play anybody because the conference sucks again

They can't ignore us if we go undefeated.

VT really needs to pull the Bama game out. They could be top three by the time GT gets to them. Still, CU, UM & UNC will be a tough road prior to VT.

Maybe #1, if Tennessee is really serious about beating Florida.

They would be right.

VT is the big game, they are looking just like they always do - big hitting on D, finding a way on O.

Oh, they absolutely can.

Oh, they absolutely can.

They wont. They propelled USF from the Big East to #1 in both polls simply for being 6-0 or so.

Take a deep breath and stop overreacting. It is Week 1.

Teams you expected to be weak will be strong and vice versa. Even Bama's drubbing of Clemson did not look bad last year in retrospect. Bama was much better than expected and Clemson was a middle-of-the-pack team in the ACC. But that week everyone thought a middle SEC team just spanked the best the ACC had to offer.

A lot will change over the next few weeks and THEN if things still look grim we can all panic.

P.S.
An undefeated team from any BCS conference has a strong shot at a title game. The woes of the PAC-10 and Big Ten didn't hurt USC and OSU the past few years.
