What does this mean? Does it mean he couldn't get a flight back out to San Diego late in the day? That he is going to be announced today as the HC? That Miami is just really having fun with this and wants to keep everyone on their toes?

I have to think that it means Gailey is not going to get the job. Could easily be wrong, but I just can't see them keeping Cameron around in town while they are deciding unless he had an extremely strong chance of getting the job.

And for you histroy buffs, in case you were wondering about the history and founding of San Diego, this following nugget is provided by Ron Burgundy:

"Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina"

Dolphin message board has overwhelming support for Cameron and they seem to think he's their next coach...

here's the general feeling on their board about Gailey..

I want Cameron, but I'm worried that Wayne's going to pull a fast one, and go with Gailey. If that happens, I'm taking the year off, no more season tickets...

I'm sure I wont be the only one either. Nobody down here looking forward to having C. Gailey as our new head coach, and Wayne would be making a huge mistake with the fans / media down here in my opinion....

I also read that some people would be considering Chan a "placeholder" for Cowher to return in the next 1-2 years.
