fan interest in tech baseball

it's good to see all the interest in tech baseball. this has been the top athletic program at tech since danny hall has been here and yet there is no talk about the program on this board. it is the cheapest ticket and the most fan friendly sport we have. yesterday we went to 4-0 as micah owings pitched another 7 strong innings and only gave up one run. in two strong appearances, freshman john goodman seems to be the answer to the closer problem that has plagued the team the past few years. with the addition of miami to the conference, there are now 6 acc teams ranked in the top 25 with tech coming in at #5.

Being the third line, more or less, of college athletics the baseball program hasn't always gotten the attention it deserves. We do have a top notch program and with the new stadium it's becoming more and more of a local sports entertainment option. Almost like having a minor league team only better. It's top tier NC2A athletics! Hopefully we'll be able to add more radio broadcasts in the future as well.
